Kharel Law Group operates in Australia under the brand Emigrate Lawyers, specialising in Australian migration law, family law, and related legal services. Our Kathmandu office supports Australian legal operations through professional content and digital engagement. Emigrate Lawyers is led by award winning Nepali Australian lawyer Mr Madhab Kharel.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Content Writer to produce accurate, engaging, and brand-aligned content for an Australian and Nepali legal audience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Write articles, blogs, website copy, and promotional materials on educational consultancy, family law, and immigration law
Create content for websites, social media, newsletters, and brochures
Translate legal concepts into clear, compelling content
Ensure SEO optimisation and brand consistency
Proofread and edit to professional standards

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Law, English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Excellent written English with strong grammar, clarity, and professional tone.
IELTS score of 6.0 or above (or equivalent English proficiency).
Proven experience in content writing (legal, migration, education, or professional services preferred).
Ability to translate complex legal and migration concepts into clear, reader-friendly content.
Strong research, analytical, and fact-checking skills.
Experience writing for websites, blogs, social media, newsletters, and marketing materials.
Understanding of SEO fundamentals, including keywords, headings, meta descriptions, and content structure.
High attention to detail and strong proofreading/editing skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and basic content management systems (WordPress experience is an advantage).
Willingness to learn and follow Australian legal and migration compliance standards.
