Project Description:

Life Project 4 Youth (LP4Y) Foundation is an alliance of local initiatives working towards Youth inclusion in 6 countries. LP4Y Nepal (218929/076/077) is setting a unique and experimental project, the Green Village: an Entrepreneurial Training Center for out-of-school Young Adults in Kathmandu valley.

This soft skill training center will welcome and train 20 to 80 Youth coming from skilling programs and other organisms (livelihood, other NGOs, associations...), will help them in developing professional grooming and employability skills (communication skills, organization and management, time management, business mindset, teamwork, citizenship…). The final objective is to help them to find a stable and decent job (by teaching them, without placement).

This project uses a hands-on pedagogy in social and professional integration of Youth based on the 10 years experience of Life Project 4 Youth Foundation, LP4Y, specialized in integration of excluded Youth.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Provide English-Nepali and Nepali-English translation/interpretation whenever required (written or oral),
Enhance the local network of suppliers for all needed equipment of the center,
Participate in the creation of partnerships with NGOs and Companies,
Be the guardian of the LP4Y pedagogy by communicating clearly with the communities around,
Accompany the youth from 17 to 25 years old with low educational background,
Be a role model to inspire and reveal the talents of the Youth,
Update and improve the community mobilization tools and follow up processes,
Assist the coaches, trainers and other members of the team in their tasks

Qualifications and Skills:

Fluent in Nepali and well command in English
Work experience in corporate sector will be appreciated
Basic knowledge in MS office (word, excel, drive, email…)

Must be at least 25 years old

By involving corporates, NGOs and institutions to take actions and be more Youth inclusive organizations. They engage through professional exposure with the Youth, participate in different networks and events linked to Youth inclusion to share best practices.
CAMPAIGN for Youth Inclusion, through international, national and regional events where Youth, Catalysts and partners can share their experiences.
