Working primarily within Nepal, but representing Asian Aid across all international programs, we are seeking a talented and motivated communication professional to support the crafting and developing of key content for both traditional and digital channels with an emphasis on tangible, measurable outcomes. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work closely with communities, partners, and supporters to highlight the life-changing impact of our programs across Asia. The ideal candidate is creative, proactive, organised, and passionate and driven by purpose.

Key Responsibilities

Develop high-quality, compelling, engaging, and ethical content for print and digital platforms, including articles, photography, videography, and supporter stories.
Capture and communicate the impact of Asian Aid’s programs through compelling storytelling and multimedia content.
Review partner reports and transform development-focused information into meaningful donor and supporter communications.
Assist in implementing integrated communication, marketing and fundraising campaigns that strengthen brand awareness, supporter engagement, and organisational objectives.
Prepare, edit, and disseminate communication materials, including website content, email campaigns, newsletters, annual reports, videos, VIP communications, and promotional and fundraising resources.
Contribute to partner capacity-building initiatives through training, guidance, and communication resources.
Assist with the planning and coordination of supporter visits and engagement experiences within Nepal.
Travel to project sites as required to gather content, document impact, and support program activities.

We are looking for a proactive and self-motivated communications professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about making a difference. The ideal candidate for this position will have:

A University degree in Communications, Media, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
Minimum of five years' experience in communications, marketing, media, public relations, or a similar role
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and to work independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
Experience using Adobe Creative Suite or similar design and content creation tools
Competency in – or willingness to be trained in – taking photographs or video footage
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, when required.

Desirable

Experience in photography, videography, and visual storytelling.
Experience working in the non-profit, international development, or humanitarian sectors.
Understanding of donor engagement and fundraising communications.

Salary & Benefits

Monthly Base Salary: AUD 1,000 (approximately NPR 100,000)
