Roles and responsibilities of this job
The Cluster Medical Lead is overall responsible for implementing Clinical Governance in his/her Cluster in accordance with all GWT(N) Standards of Medical Service delivery, Quality Standards, Disease Management Guidelines, professional standards, Policies and Procedures. S/he is responsible for the Clinical Outcome of all patients under the care of the Cluster’s Mobile Health Practitioners, Cluster Doctors and Cluster Rehabilitation Therapists. The role involves direct patient care in clinics and home visits, frequent travel within the region, integrated care planning, liaison with external providers and various professional groups and direct line management of 10 – 20 staff members of different medical professions.
