Job Type: Full Time

Job Summary:

We are looking for an innovative Civil Engineer to design, develop, and construct a wide range of data center projects, from conception through to completion. This role involves contributing to the development of the physically and naturally built environment, working in a fast-growing and dynamic industry, contributing towards healthy economies, and making a lasting positive impact on the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage, design, develop, create, and maintain small-scale to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely, and sustainable manner.
Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings, and other).
Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications.
Assess potential risks, materials, and costs.
Provide advice and creatively resolve any emerging problems/deficiencies.
Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with various stakeholders.
Handle over the resulting structures and services for use.
Monitor progress and compile reports on project status.
Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials.
Comply with guidelines and regulations, including permits, safety, etc., and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Master/Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in building design construction, with a focus on data centers or critical environments.
Certifications:
- NEC certification is a must.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in building design software (e.g., AutoCAD), MS Office, project scheduling (MS Project), structure analysis and design (ETABS/SAFE), and a strong understanding of data center requirements.
Knowledge: Familiarity with data center infrastructure management (DCIM) and best practices for energy efficiency in data centers.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
Proven working experience in civil engineering.
Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals, etc.
Project management and supervision skills.

Working Conditions:

Primarily office-based with occasional travel to data center sites for inspections, meetings, and audits.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines and multiple projects.
Fixed-Term Contract: 2 Years (with potential for extension).
