Knowledge in computer hardware and software is preferable but not compulsory
The successful candidate must be willing and able to work with minimum supervision
Should be able to take the initiative and self-learn, interested in seeking new knowledge and challenges
Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and willing to be flexible in working hours to accommodate foreign partner companies (overnight working is not expected)

Job Description

Nepal Center for Engineering and Research is seeking a candidate for a Civil Engineer position in Kathmandu, Nepal. Under certain conditions, flexible work location and flexible working hours can be made possible.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Perform Civil Engineering Design (manual as well as using available software)
Prepare Engineering Cost Estimates
Prepare construction drawings using AutoCAD
Guide and lead a team of draftsman
Limited administrative and managerial tasks
