Roles and responsibilities of this job

Advanced College of Engineering and Management(acem) is looking for Dynamic and experience Academic Librarian to take a role of a Chief Librarian of Upcoming New and State of art Academic Library setup in its new building in Balkhu, Kathmandu.

Duties typically include:

Selecting, developing, cataloguing and classifying library resources
Using library systems and specialist computer applications
Liaising with departmental academic staff, Research and Innovation unit, external organisations and suppliers
Ensuring that library services meet the needs of particular groups of users (eg Faculties, Researchers, students)
Supporting independent research and learning
Assisting readers to use computer equipment, conduct literature searches etc
Automation of library activities
E-library organisation, management and operation

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 3 years

Preferable Masters in Library Science or Information Science
