Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our company, ensuring profitability, financial stability, and growth. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in financial management, strategic planning, and leadership, particularly within the pharmaceutical or FMCG sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement financial strategies in line with company goals and objectives.
Manage and optimize the company's financial performance and liquidity.
Monitor financial health and provide timely financial reports to the executive team and board of directors.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Manage relationships with financial institutions, investors, and stakeholders.
Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Assess and manage financial risks and opportunities effectively.
Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute to overall business strategy.

Qualifications and Experience:

Professionally Qualified Accountant (ICAN/ICA/ACCA) or MBA in Finance.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior managerial role or currently working as a CFO.
Experience in the pharmaceutical or FMCG sector is preferred.
Proven track record of strategic financial leadership and driving organizational success.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
