Chief Finance Officer (CFO)

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with expertise in taxation planning, financial strategy, budgeting, financial operations, and revenue maximization. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of Nepal's tax laws and regulations and have proven experience in optimizing costs while maximizing revenue. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring the company's financial health through effective planning and projections.

Responsibilities:

Taxation Planning:

• Stay updated on Nepal's tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and minimizing tax liabilities.
• Develop and implement effective tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position and maximize tax savings.
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely tax filings.

Financial Strategy & Budgeting:

• Develop and execute the company's financial strategies aligned with its overall goals and objectives.
• Formulate and implement annual budgets and financial plans, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Conduct financial analysis and feasibility studies to identify growth opportunities and risks.

Financial Operations & Control:

• Oversee accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, and payroll.
• Implement robust financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard the company's assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions to optimize efficiency and profitability.

Revenue Maximization & Cost Optimization:

• Identify and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
• Assess cost structures and develop cost optimization initiatives without compromising quality or service delivery.
• Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for reducing costs, improving resource utilization, and enhancing operational efficiency.

Company Financial Planning and Projections:

• Generate accurate financial forecasts and projections to support effective decision-making and strategic planning.
• Provide insightful financial analysis and reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop annual financial plans and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Requirements:

• Must be a Chartered Accountant with proven work experience in skills mentioned above
• At least 3-5 years of previous experience in a related field
• In-depth knowledge of Nepal's tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience and track record in taxation planning, financial strategy, budgeting, and financial operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent leadership and managerial abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate a team.
  Proficient in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
