Job Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the accounting department, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and adherence to company policies.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Develop and implement financial strategies to enhance profitability.
Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants during audits and tax filings.
Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts to support business decisions.
Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (CA/ACCA) is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably in a trading company.
Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations.
