Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Act as a key advisor to the management team, providing financial insights and recommendations for business improvement.
Oversee all financial operations, including budgetary control, correspondence with banks, financial projection and presentation, quarterly reporting and analysis, and financial statement preparation.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
Manage and monitor cash flows, budget adherence, and financial risks.
Conduct financial analysis and review to improve efficiency and profitability of the organization.
Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to senior management and the board of directors.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide necessary support during audits.
Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including banks, investors, and regulatory bodies.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 5 years

Other Specification

Must be a Chartered Accountant from Nepal/India (Preferable for Nepalese license holders from ICAN).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the Hydropower or Construction industry.
Proven track record in budgetary control, financial analysis and reporting, and risk management.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and standards.
Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
