Swadeshi Multipurpose Co-operative Ltd. is looking for a responsible, honest, and detail-oriented Cashier to manage daily cash transactions and support basic accounting and financial activities. The ideal candidate should have good numerical skills, accuracy, and the ability to maintain proper records of financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Handle daily cash collection, payments, and cash disbursements.
Maintain accurate records of all cash transactions.
Prepare and issue cash receipts, payment vouchers, and bills.
Count and verify cash at the beginning and end of the working day.
Maintain and update the cash book regularly.
Perform daily cash reconciliation and report any discrepancies.
Deposit cash into the bank as required.
Handle customer/member payments and provide proper receipts.
Assist with bank transactions and bank reconciliation when required.
Maintain records of expenses, collections, and other financial transactions.
Assist the accounts team with voucher preparation, ledger posting, and documentation.
Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of cash and financial documents.
Support basic accounting and administrative tasks as assigned by management.
Coordinate with other departments regarding cash and payment-related matters.
Travel to banks or other locations for official financial transactions when required.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree running or completed in Management, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as a Cashier
Basic knowledge of accounting and cash-handling procedures.
Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
Familiarity with accounting software will be an advantage.
Good numerical and calculation skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Honest, trustworthy, and responsible with cash and financial information.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle financial records properly.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Female candidates are highly preferred.
A valid driving license is mandatory.
