Roles and responsibilities of this job

A Business Development Officer’s main goal is to identify opportunities for business growth and create marketing strategies based on those opportunities in order to meet and exceed revenue goals. A Business Development Officer’s typical responsibilities include:

Analyzing current and past financial data and providing strategies to cut costs and increase revenue.
Leading the charge on market research plans to identify new opportunities.
Working with executives to implement business strategies and new opportunities.
Encouraging new and existing clients by creating and improving strategies.
Ensuring that the company meets revenue targets.
Providing training and mentoring to other members of the teams.
Developing ideas.
Developing and sustaining solid relationships with company stakeholders and customers.
Analyzing customer feedback data to determine whether customers are satisfied with company products and services.
Providing insight into product development and competitive positioning.
Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities.
Any other tasks assigned by the Executive.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 2 years

Other Specification

Master's degree in business management or administration, marketing or related field.
Proven experience of at least 2 years as a business development officer or similar role.
Effective communication skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and management skills.
Exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
The ability to travel as needed.
Ability to work in a team, develop synergies and establish effective working relations with various stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, initiative, tact and ability to cope with any situations.
