Roles and responsibilities of this job

As a Business Development Associate in the Incubation Team, you will help onboard new merchants, support them during the early phase, and ensure consistent daily order growth. This role is best suited for someone who is curious, proactive, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment. To support Parcel merchant's activation, incubation-related tasks, vendor/merchant coordination, campaign execution, follow-ups, and daily/weekly reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Scout and onboard new merchants under pilot categories.
Guide new merchants through onboarding, app setup, and basic operations training.
Identify drop-off or underperforming vendors and re-engage them.
Track daily order performance of newly onboarded merchants and flag irregularities.
Follow up with new vendors regularly to ensure they are progressing and active.
Coordinate with the marketing ops team to resolve merchant issues quickly.
Work closely with the BD team to test and scale incubation strategies.
Maintain daily reports on merchant activity and early-stage performance.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (running or completed).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Analytical thinking; ability to interpret trends and data.
Proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets is a must.
Previous experience in onboarding or merchant support is an advantage.
