Roles and responsibilities of this job

Chamunda Trading House (CTH) is seeking an experienced Biomedical Engineer with hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of medical equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of medical devices while collaborating with clinical teams, vendors, and hospital management to support high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair biomedical equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and safety checks.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and minimize downtime.
Maintain service records and equipment inventory.
Coordinate with vendors for AMC/CMC, warranty, and technical support.
Support equipment procurement and commissioning.
Train clinical staff on the safe use of medical devices.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and hospital policies.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a hospital or medical equipment company.
Strong knowledge of biomedical equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Experience with diagnostic, therapeutic, and laboratory equipment.
Knowledge of calibration, electrical safety, and preventive maintenance.
Good analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance management systems (preferred).
