We are looking for:

The ideal candidate for this position will be a reliable and adept programmer who is eager to develop website, web app and API and break down large technical problems and solve them systematically.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Essential - Applications that do not meet these requirements will not be considered.

Have 1 year+ working experience as a backend engineer
Have knowledge about at least one of Express, Laravel, Django, Rails or similar frameworks
Have built API for mobile app projects or single page app projects
Have enthusiasm for working for a start-up
Fluent in English

Preferred - Applications that meet these requirements will be given priority.

Have 2 years+ working experience as a backend engineer
Have worked with Docker, Vagrant or other virtual environments
Have worked with AWS, GCP or other cloud computing service

Job Description

Tasks and Responsibilities

Develop website, web app and API and any other apps using Ruby on Rails or other frameworks from scratch based on each client's requirements
Review other people's code
Communicate with a foreign team for any improvement in the company
Implement features, fix bugs and refactor code of existing apps
Discuss technical requirements, database structures, code styles and performances with other developers

Salary

Salary starts from NPR 30,000 to NPR 60,000 a month
A salary is based upon a person's performance, not directly upon hours worked
Your performance and pay amount will be reviewed once every six months following the Company’s timetable on evaluation. Depending on your performance and contribution to the team, you could get a raise.

Working Regulations:

Working Day

Monday to Friday
2 off-days in a week

Working hour

8 hours in a day. It includes about 30 minutes of lunchtime.
Core time is 11:00~15:00.
You can work anytime at your own convenience: early in the morning, late at night, except for the core time.

Working location

On the core time, you should work in the office.
You can work anywhere at your own convenience: office, cafe or home, except for the core time.
