Softechpark, an IT Company based in Kathmandu, focuses on providing efficient IT solutions and services to the industry. With a team of core software & hardware professionals, we aim to deliver quality software products using the latest tools and technologies for both national and international projects. Our services include School Management Systems, E-Billing & Business Management, and Desktop Applications for various sectors.

Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Back End Developer at Softechpark. The Back End Developer will be responsible for back-end development with Node.js

Technical Expertise

5+ years of professional experience with Node.js.
Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and migrations.
Proficient in building scalable and secure backend systems.
Familiarity with asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and APIs.
Familiarity with Docker and containerization concepts.
Basic understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.

Other Skills:

Experience with version control systems like Git.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice-to-Have:

Knowledge of other databases like MongoDB or Redis.
Experience with GraphQL or gRPC.
Familiarity with Kubernetes or other orchestration tools. Exposure to frontend frameworks like React or Nextjs or vue.js.
