Job Description:

As a Junior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for contributing to the development and maintenance of our backend systems using Node.js, Express, and MongoDB. You will work closely with senior developers and other team members to ensure the seamless integration of front-end components, create and manage databases, and develop APIs that power our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain backend features using Node.js and Express.
• Work on API development and integration with front-end and third-party services.
• Manage and optimize MongoDB databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high code quality.
• Assist in the deployment of backend applications and services.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Solid understanding of JavaScript and ES6+ features.
• 1+ years of experience with Node.js and Express framework.
• Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of RESTful API design and development.
• Basic knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization.
• Experience with testing frameworks like Mocha, Chai, or Jest.
