Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Back-End Developer (Django) at Avinto IT located in Kathmandu. The Back-End Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side of web applications, collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to implement and maintain APIs, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of the applications. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Django, Python, and RESTful APIs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
• In-depth understanding of Django web framework
• 2 - 3 years experience in relevant field 
• Strong proficiency in Python programming language
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure/ AWS
• Experience with RESTful APIs
• Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
• Familiarity with front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Understanding of system/enterprise architecture 
• Highly proficient in English, a general team player with good work ethics

Relevant certifications and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field would be beneficial.
