We are seeking an experienced AWS Backend Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and maintaining serverless architectures on AWS. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying backend services using AWS technologies such as DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, Eventbridge, SQS, S3, and OpenSearch. Proficiency in Node.js/TypeScript and CloudFormation YAML is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda and other AWS services.
• Work with DynamoDB, API Gateway, Cognito, Eventbridge, SQS, S3, and OpenSearch to build scalable and reliable backend solutions.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code using CloudFormation YAML.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders to integrate backend services.
• Optimize existing serverless applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Ensure best practices in security, monitoring, and logging are followed.
• Use Git for project management, version control, and collaboration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and development environments.
• Stay current with AWS advancements and incorporate new services and features as appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in backend development with AWS, focusing on serverless architecture.
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with AWS services including DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, Eventbridge, SQS, S3, and OpenSearch.
• Hands-on experience with CloudFormation YAML for infrastructure as code.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Git for version control and project management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
