Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Senior Bookkeeper for an Australia-based accounting firm. Prospective candidates will need to have the following:

Key Responsibility:

Candidates with sound knowledge and experience in reconciling the bank account, accounts payable, accounts receivable, Payroll, superannuation, teamwork, and communication with the client after getting the training.
Candidates with sound knowledge about GST, BAS, and taxation will be preferred.
Fluent in English speaking and writing. You will be dealing with overseas colleagues, managers, and clients.
This position is ideal for a candidate with an Australian qualification and accounting experience.
Experienced in accounting software like Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks will be advantage.
You may be asked to prepare monthly reports and budgets.
Strong work ethic, fast learner, team player

Required Education Level: Graduate (Master's is an advantage)
Required Experience: You MUST be highly skilled and MUST have at least 3 years’ experience in accounting. (Experience with a US or Australian company is an advantage).
Education: ACCA, Chartered Accountant (semi-qualified/qualified)
Candidate will need sound knowledge of excel, outlook and technologies. CA, CPA, IPA qualified will be advantaged

Salary Offered: NPR 75,000 (Negotiable- based on your experience)

Work conditions:

Selected candidate will work from office in Boudha, Kathmandu.
Work will be Monday - Friday total of 40 hours per week.
Working hours 9:30 am - 6:00 pm Sydney-based time (including 30-minute break time).
An attractive salary will be awarded based on your role, knowledge, skills, and experience.

NOTE:

Only shortlisted candidates will be selected for an interview. Interview will be via Zoom with overseas Directors and Managers.
Candidates who have completed their bachelor's degree and are currently pursuing a master's degree are eligible to apply.
