The Assistant Finance Manager will oversee and manage the financial operations of the hotel, ensuring robust financial planning, reporting, compliance, and control across all group entities. This role supports strategic business decisions through accurate financial insights, effective budgeting, and optimal fund management.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the preparation of timely, accurate, and comprehensive Management Information System (MIS) reports and reporting to investor partners.
Prepare, coordinate, and monitor operational budgets and analyze variances for management decision-making.
Develop and oversee fund flow and cash flow statements to ensure optimal liquidity and financial health.
Coordinate and oversee statutory audits and internal audits, ensuring compliance with all applicable financial regulations and standards.
Monitor and control Accounts Receivables (AR) and Accounts Payables (AP) to optimize cash cycles and working capital management.
Conduct tax planning, including optimization of tax liabilities through legal means and maximizing available tax credits and benefits.
Ensure timely and accurate monthly tax filings (VAT, Income Tax, TDS, etc.) and compliance with all tax regulations.
Maintain and enforce legal compliance related to financial, tax, and regulatory requirements.
Control and analyze the operational finance aspects including cost control, revenue analysis, and profitability improvement initiatives.
Standardize accounting policies, practices, and procedures to ensure uniformity and compliance.
Implement and review internal control systems and financial procedures to safeguard company assets and mitigate risks.
Provide financial insights, forecasts, and scenario analysis to support strategic planning and business growth.
Lead and mentor the finance teams to enhance their capabilities and alignment with group objectives.
Liaise with external stakeholders including auditors, tax consultants, regulators, and financial institutions on behalf of the company.
Develop financial models and metrics to track the performance.
Oversee procurement financial controls and policies to optimize spending and budget adherence.
Handle cash management and banking relationships to optimize cash utilization and minimize funding costs.

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (professional certifications such as CA, ACCA will be preferred).
Experience Level 3–5 years in finance or accounting roles.
Proven experience in finance management, including budgeting, reporting, and financial controls.
Prior experience in the hospitality sector (hotel, resort, or hospitality group) will be highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and financial management/accounting software.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
