Required Skills:

Must have completed PCL in Health sciences (Staff nurse, Health Assistant, Ophthalmic Assistant)
1 year Anesthesia assistant course from reputed Institution
Must have pleasant personality
Must have good interpersonal, communication and motivation skill

Job Description:

Pre-anesthetic assessment of patient requiring anesthesia:

Assist anesthesiologist for Pre-anesthetic check up and taking informed consent after counseling

In the operation room complex

Prepare the anesthetic equipment and anesthetic drugs as per protocol of the Institute
Attachment of monitoring equipment, institute IV access for drugs and fluids and assist in providing general anesthesia
Monitor, maintain and managing vitals of the patient during anesthesia
Continue monitor, maintain and manage vitals of the patient during recovery period until full recovery & Preparation of resuscitation and CPR materials
Carry out other duties as required and given by the line manager

Note: Remuneration and benefits will be provided as per Nepal Eye Program Institution rule
