Company Description:

Neutroline is seeking a skilled Application and Cyber Security Engineer to implement robust security features and safeguard our platform.

Role Description:

This is a remote role for a Cyber Security Engineer. The Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of the company's applications, networks, and information systems. Tasks include conducting vulnerability assessments, implementing security protocols, monitoring for security breaches, and responding to incidents.

Implement security protocols, encryption, and network security measures.
Focus on secure coding practices, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
Integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline and automate security testing.
Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in the application and infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with industry security standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
Conduct security audits, risk assessments, and implement security best practices.
Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to enhance application security.

Requirements:

Proven experience in application security, cybersecurity, or related roles.
Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, secure coding principles, and encryption standards.
Hands-on experience with security tools for vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.
Expertise in implementing authentication and access control (MFA, RBAC, OAuth).
Familiarity with cloud security best practices (AWS or GCP).
Experience in DevSecOps practices and integrating security in CI/CD pipelines.
Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or similar are a plus.

Nice to Have:

Experience with ISO 27001, SOC 2, or GDPR compliance for enterprise security.
Knowledge of container security (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices security.
Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture and advanced threat detection techniques.
Experience with security automation using Terraform, Ansible, or scripting (Python, Bash).
Contributions to open-source security projects or participation in CTF (Capture the Flag) challenges.
