Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are building an AI-powered virtual tailor and fitting platform that lets users preview a photorealistic image of themselves in an outfit before buying. We're hiring our founding AI/ML engineer to take pretrained computer vision and generative models and turn them into two working, production-ready engines. Hands-on build-and-ship role, reporting directly to the CTO.

Responsibilities

Apply pretrained 3D computer vision models to extract structured, real-world outputs from images (e.g. pose/shape estimation, mesh reconstruction, or similar 3D-from-image work)
Experience designing and building scalable data pipelines for machine learning model pre-training, including data collection, preprocessing, validation, and optimization.
Run inference on and fine-tune diffusion-based generative models (Stable Diffusion/SDXL family, LoRA) on custom, domain-specific data
Manage rented GPU cloud infrastructure (RunPod, Lambda Labs, Vast . Ai or similar) with cost discipline
Wrap trained models behind a working API (FastAPI or similar) so they can be tested end to end
Track experiments and report accuracy/quality metrics against agreed milestones
Flag licensing constraints on any pretrained model before commercial use
Communicate progress clearly and directly with a remote CTO

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

3+ years of experience in machine learning engineering
Strong, hands-on Python and PyTorch skills (production/research level)
Experience with computer vision or 3D human body modeling (pose estimation, mesh reconstruction, or similar)
Practical experience with diffusion models (Stable Diffusion/SDXL), including LoRA fine-tuning
Comfortable in the Hugging Face ecosystem (transformers, diffusers)
Backend API development skills (FastAPI, Flask, or Node/Express)
Experience with rented cloud GPUs
Git-based workflow with clear documentation habits
Strong written English

Nice to Have

Public GitHub / open-source projects
Mobile ML deployment experience (quantization, ONNX)
Fashion-tech or e-commerce sizing exposure
Experience with W&B, MLflow
Prior startup or founding-engineer experience
