Agriculture Technician

Institution for Suitable Actions for Prosperity (ISAP) is now implementing 5-year project named JNS Agriculture Promotion Project in Nepal (APPIN) funded by Japan Nepal Society (JNS), Tokyo. The project aims to increase the income of community people by encouraging the production and marketing of high-quality vegetables and fruits, thereby promoting business and industrialization of the agriculture sector. 

The position holder will be responsible for the following: 

• Support Community Mobilizer to develop detailed implementation plan
  
• Support and facilitate community mobilizer and community during target group identification, group formation mobilization and implementation of agriculture component activities in the assigned locations
• Facilitate training, workshops and orientation program of agriculture and marketing component of the project
• Regular field visit to provide technical assistance and backstopping to beneficiaries
• Assist Agriculture Officer during planning, monitoring and reporting of project activities
• Support Agriculture Officer, Project Manager and Team Leader to maintain and compile database, case studies and reports as required.
• Develop strong linkage and coordination with Municipality and service centers of the line
• agencies of the assigned locations and create synergy
• Other work as assigned by Agriculture Officer, Project Manager and Team Leader
