Institution for Suitable Actions for Prosperity (ISAP) is now implementing 5-year project named JNS Agriculture Promotion Project in Nepal (APPIN) funded by Japan Nepal Society (JNS), Tokyo. The project aims to increase the income of community people by encouraging the production and marketing of high-quality vegetables and fruits, thereby promoting business and industrialization of the agriculture sector. We are looking for the following position to successfully implement APPIN.

Job Description

Contract Period: Initially one year with possibility of extension
Reports to: Executive Director, Project Team Leader and Assigned Line Manager

The position holder will be responsible for the following: 

  • Assist Project Team Leader and District Agriculture Coordinator in carrying out day to day activities in the project areas
  • Provide technical backstopping to the beneficiary groups
  • Take charge of procurement and delivery of agriculture input supplies
  • Coordination with vendors and other relevant stakeholders
  • Facilitate workshops and training as per the planned activity guideline
  • Coordination with District Agriculture Coordinator and ensure efficient flow of information Compilation and Preparation of Activity Reports
  • between Central Office and District Team
  • Maintenance of Project Stock Book
  • Other duties as required by the organization
