Reports to: Program Director
Scope of the Position:
The Advocacy Coordinator will overall be responsible for leading the advocacy part of the project to empower the Persons with Disabilities through skill development and livelihood support in close coordination with the consortium team led by CBM ensuring that mental health and the issues of psychosocial disability is well integrated into the project activities. The employee ensures the efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability of the project while achieving outputs and outcomes according to the agreed project plan considering the existing policies, strategies, and procedures of KOSHISH. The person represents KOSHISH and is responsible to ensure the interventions laid out for the same.
Specific Responsibilities:
The employee is responsible for coordination, communication, implementation, monitoring, supervision, and reporting to meet the objectives of the project as well as to ensure the quality of delivery of the project as per the plan of action and implementation guideline. The person has to work in the consortium project team comprises of CBM, DEC-Nepal and KOSHISH.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Travel required: This position is supposed to oversee the project implemented in Banke and Dang. Thus, frequent travel to the project area and central office is required whenever needed.
Remuneration and Benefit: Negotiable as per competence and experience

Education Level: Master`s Degree or equivalent in human rights, international relations, law, disability, social work or any other related field
Experience required: A minimum of 3 years of experience in the similar field
