UniPort helps students applying to the United States, UK and Canada by providing truthful information through webinars, online university/program finder, and US-trained counselors. And you will be our first impression.

How you dress, communicate, and follow up will set expectations for all of us. Given that we know we are doing something different in the higher education market, we are looking for front desk officers who are a notch above the crowd.

Personal Traits

As your main task is to create a positive first impression, we expect you to have excellent communication skills in person, on the phone, or on social media channels. Also, since you will mainly be dealing with 19-year-olds, students will probably eat you up for lunch if you are not assertive.
UniPort handled 1500+ students in 2023. And they ask you things that you will need to learn about. If you quickly lose your cool in stressful or unfamiliar situations, this position is probably not for you.
We are a fast-growing organization, and in 3 years, we have already helped 270+ students get their US visas. Join us with a growth mindset, and we will ensure you rise up the ranks quickly. Just don't be afraid of making mistakes.

Skill Set

An essential skill for this position is that you instinctively understand that customers are gods. Couple that with a neat and professional sense of dressing up and a good command of the English language, and you are halfway to getting hired.
You will work with Google Docs / Sheets, HubSpot CRM, and MS Excel a lot. While we can teach you about HubSpot, we expect you to have a working knowledge of Google Docs/Sheets and MS Excel.
You will be working with all departments (academic / counseling/marketing) regarding student communication. As such, while time management skill is necessary, having some knowledge of higher education in the United States, UK & Canada will be a huge bonus.

Job and Growth Description

You will coordinate classes, IELTS test prep bookings, and all kinds of student follow-ups, from meeting scheduling to attendance issues, applications etc.
