|NDRI is an independent, non-profit institution, a leading think tank in Nepal dedicated to address the contemporary and emerging challenges through quality research for evidence-based policy and programming. Established in 2004, NDRI comprises of an interdisciplinary team of experts with highest academic standings, and wealth of national and international experiences.
NDRI focuses on creating opportunities for research, dialogue and collaboration. NDRI works on 4 thematic areas: (i) Livelihood and Food Security; (ii) Water and Climate; (iii) Health, Education, and Environment; and (iv) Economic Growth and Development and 2 cross-cutting areas: (a) Disaster Risk Management and (b) Gender Equality and Social Inclusion.
As a part of the NDRI’s Admin and Finance team, the incumbent will work under the direct guidance of the Admin and Finance Officer, and general supervision of the Executive Director. S/he will to be stationed at NDRI office located at Sanepa, Lalitpur, Nepal, but may require to travel occasionally to the study/project locations. Initial contract will be for one year, including two-month probation period, with the possibility of annual extension depending on candidate’s performance and availability of funds.
