Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Reports To: CFO, Finance

Main Responsibilities:

Perform Actuarial management in the areas of Product Pricing & Development, Valuations, and Modeling as per regulatory requirements.
Create various reports - actuarial statutory report, VNB, Mortality / Expenses Studies and educate same to stakeholders simplifying the communication.
Create/populate models, CFT projections & liquidity test and analyze financial risk.
Learn and provide desired output using actuarial software -Polysystem/Prophet.
Provide extensive support to the Finance function in process improvement, Reinsurance, and other relevant areas.
Active delegation and execution of work while maintaining strong focus on quality, timeliness, and effective communications.

Qualification & other Requirements:

Qualified Actuary /Passed at least six papers in actuarial studies /Bachelor or above in Actuarial Science or related disciplines.
At least 3 years’ experience in Insurance industry the field of actuarial science.
Knowledge of Insurance laws, regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Packages /VBA.
Good communication skill (both written and spoken) in English & Nepal.
