Roles and responsibilities of this job

Asquare Consulting Services is a dynamic and innovative Accounting and Financial consulting firm seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accountant to join our growing team in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Responsibilities:

Record and classify financial transactions accurately and efficiently
Prepare and submission of monthly and quarterly VAT return of various clients
Maintain general ledgers
Reconcile Clients bank accounts
Maintaining the Inventory Register Book.
Prepare and analyze financial reports (e.g., income statements, balance sheets)
Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes
Assist with tax preparation and compliance
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Collaborate with other team members to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency
Computation of TDS and ETDS.
Provide support during audits and assist in implementing corrective actions.
Assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Busy, Tally)
Excellent in MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
