Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with a proven track record of managing financial records and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and manage financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, monitoring actual performance against targets.
Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and payment of invoices.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow, ensuring sufficient funds are available for operations.
Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local and national tax regulations.
Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
