About the job

Responsibilities

Process and maintain accurate records for customer financial accounts, including credit cards, loyalty programs, and store financing options.
Assist customers with inquiries regarding their accounts, providing clear and concise information.
Resolve account issues promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Analyze account data to identify potential problems and discrepancies.
Reconcile accounts and ensure all financial transactions are accurate and complete.
Perform account maintenance tasks such as updates, changes, and closures.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding financial security and data privacy.
Work collaboratively with internal teams such as sales, customer service, and credit departments.
Stay up-to-date on company policies and regulations related to financial accounts.

Minimum Competencies Required for the position

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably with financial account management experience.
Strong understanding of basic financial principles and concepts.
Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and take initiative to problem-solve.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
