Job Overview:

The Junior Accountant will support the accounting team with day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, preparing financial reports, and assisting with audits. This role is perfect for someone with a strong foundation in accounting principles who is looking to further develop their skills in a professional setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Perform daily accounting tasks such as accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Assist with audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
Provide support to the senior accountants as needed.
Help prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory documents.
Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

NOTES: Must have a valid license of two wheeler.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 1 year

Other Specification

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2 years of experience in accounting or a related role.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with accounting software (e.g., TALLY) is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Ability to ride a bike or scooter as part of daily work requirements to the Bank and other offices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
