Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for an experienced Account Officer to join our team here at Himalaya Distributors, located in Narayangarh, Chitwan. As a Account Officer in our FMCG distribution firm, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all accounting activities and operations.

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee all accounting operations
Monitor and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
Keep track of invoices and expense reports
Handle day-to-day bank reconciliations
Prepare monthly tax reports and upload in IRD
Maintain and update financial records and reports
Conduct periodic audits of accounts and financial processes
Collaborate with team to ensure accurate and consistent accounting practices
Stay updated with new tax laws and regulations
Communicate and coordinate with auditors for year-end financial activities

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 4 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
4+ years’ experience (FMCG Preferred)
Strong understanding of VAT, TAX, Excise Duty, and IRD regulations
Knowledge of Swastik software is a plus point
Proven experience in record-keeping and bookkeeping
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office packages
Good communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively.

Working Hours: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
