Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a competent Account Officer to join our team at Phewa Automobiles. The ideal candidate for this position should have a mid-level experience of at least 2 years in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry. As an Account Officer, you will be responsible for managing all accounting transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.

Responsibilities:

Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
Handle the monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Reconcile accounts to ensure their accuracy
Oversee timely bank payments and manage the company's cash flow
Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with taxation laws
Compute taxes and prepare financial statements such as balance sheets and profit/loss statements
Conduct audits of financial transactions and maintain proper documentation
Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and procedures
Utilize advanced MS Excel skills for tasks such as Vlookups and pivot tables
Maintain and update the general ledger functions using Swastik software
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, to provide accurate financial information

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (BBS/BBA preferred)
Minimum of 1-2 years of work experience as an Accountant in a relevant industry
In-depth knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
Proficient in using MS Office, particularly Excel
Experience with general ledger functions and Swastik software will be a plus
Excellent time-management and organizational abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
