Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Abroad Education Counselor who can effectively guide students through international education opportunities, admission procedures, and study abroad processes. The ideal candidate should possess strong counseling abilities, excellent communication skills, and in-depth knowledge of international education systems, student documentation, and visa procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Counsel students and parents regarding study abroad opportunities, courses, universities, and destination countries based on their academic background and career goals.
Provide complete guidance on admission procedures, application timelines, entry requirements, and documentation for international institutions.
Assist students in selecting suitable universities and programs in alignment with their academic profile, budget, and preferences.
Manage end-to-end application processing, including form filling, document preparation, submission, and follow-up with universities.
Guide students through visa application procedures, including documentation support, interview preparation, and compliance requirements.
Maintain regular communication with students to ensure timely updates on application status and requirements.
Coordinate with international universities, institutions, and partners for admission-related queries and updates.
Maintain accurate records of student profiles, applications, offers, and enrollments in the system.
Conduct counseling sessions, seminars, and information sessions for prospective students and parents.
Achieve assigned student enrollment and application targets as per organizational goals.
Stay updated on changes in international education policies, visa regulations, and admission trends.
Provide pre-departure guidance and support to students after visa approval when required.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
TITI Certified candidate is mandatory
Minimum 2 years of experience in abroad education counseling or a related field
Strong knowledge of international universities, admission requirements, and visa procedures
Excellent counseling, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to guide students regarding course selection, university applications, and career pathways
Strong documentation handling and follow-up coordination abilities
Ability to work in a target-oriented and fast-paced environment
Good command of English language, both written and verbal
Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
