Responsibilities

Job Description

End-User Support

Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users via in-person, phone, email, or remote assistance.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, LAN and other peripherals.

Software Installation And Configuration

Install, configure, and update operating systems and software applications.

Ensure software licenses are compliant with organizational policies.

Hardware Maintenance

Perform hardware upgrades, installations, and replacements as needed.

Conduct regular maintenance and preventive measures for desktop systems

Qualifications
Skills:

Operating Systems: Extensive knowledge of operating systems like Windows, macOS and Linux distributions.

Hardware: Understanding of computer components, mobile devices, printers, networks.

Software: Familiarity with productivity software, collaboration tools, etc.

Diagnostics: Ability to review logs, run monitoring tools, conduct testing to pinpoint issues.

Scripting: Write scripts to automate tasks using languages like PowerShell.

Networking Concepts: Solid grasp of how LANs, WANs, Wi-Fi, VPNs etc. function.

Asset management: Knowledge in managing Software and Hardware asset.
