Position Overview:

Euro School is seeking a dynamic and experienced Librarian to join our team in fostering a love for reading and supporting a vibrant learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for promoting literacy and must possess experience working in a progressive educational setting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the school library, overseeing cataloging, organization, and circulation of materials.
• Promote reading culture through engaging activities, book clubs, and literacy programs.
• Collaborate with educators to integrate library resources into the curriculum.
• Provide guidance and assistance to students in research, information literacy, and resource utilization.
• Stay updated with current trends in library science and educational technology.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Librarian in a progressive school environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
• Strong knowledge of library systems, cataloging, and information retrieval methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to curate and maintain a diverse collection of resources catering to different age groups and interests.
• Familiarity with educational technology and digital resources.
