Job Description

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in line with the National Curriculum and instructional materials for teaching English language and literature to secondary level students.
Foster a deep understanding of English grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing skills, and literary analysis among students.
Encourage a love for reading, critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication skills among students.
Observing, guiding, supervising, and assessing children while they learn in the classroom environment.
Creating and maintaining a safe, clean, stimulating classroom where all children feel safe and valued.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes active participation and student engagement.
Setting an excellent example for students and instilling good values in them like honesty, accountability, understanding, tolerance, respect, love, and kindness.
Monitoring and assessing student progress and writing up reports.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance.
Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth and development.
Collaborate with colleagues and school administration to align teaching strategies and ensure a cohesive educational experience for students.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with educational trends and best practices.
Perform other duties related to teaching and learning activities as and when assigned by the school authority.
