About The Job

The HRBP will play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire employee lifecycle for our Nepal team, from hiring to exits, and everything in between, including local payroll management and office administration. This position requires a strategic thinker who can balance global HR initiatives with the nuances of local employment practices. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned HR professional with a proven track record in employee management within the Nepalese context, adept at contributing to and implementing global HR programs.



What You’ll Do

  • Talent Acquisition and Management: Lead the recruitment process to attract, select, and onboard top talent. Manage talent development programs to ensure employee growth and retention.
  • Employee Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues within the Nepal team, providing guidance and solutions in line with both local and global HR policies.
  • Performance Management: Implement and oversee performance evaluation processes, ensuring they are fair, consistent, and aligned with global standards.
  • HR Policy Development and Implementation: Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with local laws and are in harmony with global HR strategies.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Oversee the compensation and benefits structure for the Nepal team, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with global practices.
  • Compliance and Legal: Ensure all HR practices are compliant with Nepalese labor laws and regulations, and stay updated on legal changes affecting HR.
  • Global HR Initiatives: Participate in global HR projects and initiatives, ensuring successful local implementation of global strategies.
  • Payroll Management: Manage the end-to-end payroll process for the Nepal team, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. Coordinate with finance and global HR teams to align payroll practices.
  • Office Management: Oversee office operations, ensuring a safe, productive, and engaging work environment. Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities maintenance.
  • Culture and Team Building: Develop and implement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture, including team-building activities and events

About You

  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a senior HR role, preferably within Nepal.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Nepalese labor laws, employment practices, and payroll processes.
  • Experience in office management and creating engaging workplace environments.
  • Demonstrated ability in implementing global HR programs within a local context.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively interacting at all organizational levels.
  • Proven multitasking abilities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Nepali, both written and spoken.
