Qualifications: Masters in Adult Nursing (MN/M.Sc in Nursing), registered in Nepal Nursing Council.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of working experience out of which 3 years must be as a supervisor.


Job Description

  • Reviewing and ensuring that nursing registers and notes are aptly updated, informative and descriptive of the nursing care being provided and that they reflect the patient’s response to the care. 
  • Taking daily and periodic rounds of patients to ensure that all nursing staff is performing their work assignments under acceptable nursing standards  
  • Monitoring and coordinating patient care activities to ensure quality and adherence to protocols while also addressing patient care issues and concerns 
  • Participating in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards 
  • Facilitating effective communication between nursing staff, other healthcare professionals, and different departments. 
  • Addressing and resolving conflicts or issues within the nursing team and conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback 
  • Providing a comprehensive orientation for new staff and ongoing training to old nursing staff 
  • Monitoring and evaluating the quality of nursing care and identifying areas for improvement. 
  • Providing leadership while coordinating responses to emergencies or critical incidents and ensuring that appropriate protocols are followed during crisis situations. 
  • Assisting in Infection Control in the development, implementation, and revising of written aseptic and isolation techniques.
