Sayathari Media is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Video Editor / VFX to join our team. As a senior-level member of our organization, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and engaging video content that meets our clients' needs and exceeds their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and enhance raw footage to create high-quality videos for various platforms such as social media, websites, and advertisements.
• Utilize VFX (visual effects) techniques to add special effects, animations, and other elements to enhance the overall visual appeal of the videos.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts, storyboards, and scripts for video projects.
• Select and incorporate suitable music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance the overall impact of the videos.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget, while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Stay updated with the latest video editing and VFX techniques, tools, and software to continuously improve the quality of our work.
• Manage and organize video assets, including raw footage, graphics, and audio files.
• Communicate and collaborate with clients to understand their vision and incorporate their feedback into the final product.

Requirements:

• Expertise in Film Production, Video Editing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in video editing and VFX, preferably in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Extensive knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
• Strong understanding of VFX techniques and software such as Adobe After Effects, Nuke, or Blender.
• Excellent storytelling skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
• A portfolio showcasing your previous work and demonstrating your skills in video editing and VFX.
