This is a mid-level and techno-functional role to implement, operate, maintain and support business applications who can analyze & maintain technical solutions for business requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs role of application system administrator to monitor and maintain applications, databases and associated software
  
• Ensures that regular operational and maintenance activities of applications are performed with necessary recording
  
• Co-ordinates with the members and NRB for daily clearing,settlement & payment activities including second level. Helpdesk support for their issues/ queries
• Interacts and/or follows-up with other team members, system developers, vendors/ consultants to resolve any issue in the business applications
  
• Deploys/ Installs and configures in the application for new product/ setups, members and/or any modifications
  
• Assists in system design/ analysis and performs testing/quality assurance of application systems and interfaces
  
• Provides training to the technical & business users of the members and of NCHL
  
• Prepares documents/ user manuals and various MIS reports
  

Job Specification:

• At least University degree in engineering/ science, IT/IS, computer applications or related field
• Not less than 5 years of experience in financial technology design, development, implementation, and/or operation. Experience in payment systems/ interfaces will be an advantage
• Sound knowledge of JAVA, J2EE, JSP, JavaScript, XML, Web Services, Message Queue, Oracle, AIX Unix and Windows
  
• Ability to learn, understand and apply new technologies
  
• Experienced at working independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment
  
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high- pressure environment is crucial
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
