Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financials and tax related services of various client organizations based in Australia.

Responsibilities:

1.    Bookkeeping and Accounting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable on a regular basis.
  • Generate financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. 

2.    Tax Return Preparation:

  • Prepare accurate and timely tax returns for the organization.
  • Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with external tax consultants and authorities as needed.

3.    Financial Advisory:

  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to guide financial planning.
  • Offer guidance on cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and overall financial efficiency.

4.    Compliance and Regulation:

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Monitor changes in financial legislation and regulations and communicate their impact to the relevant stakeholders.

5.    Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the client and other team members to gather financial information and provide support.

Qualifications:

  • Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAN/ICAI)
  • Professional Accounting designation (e.g., ACCA) is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
