    Contract Type: Fixed term contract with three months of probation period

    Program Background:

    Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Program is a community-based model of inclusive development implemented in direct partnership with the provincial government of Koshi Province and local governments. The goal of the program is to prevent avoidable disabilities and improve the quality of life of children and adults with disabilities and their families through community-based rehabilitation. It works to strengthen community support systems for the achievement of these goals.

    Required qualifications and experiences:

    Education and experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minimum of 2 years of administrative or HR related experience.
    • Prior experience in human resource management and admin in developmental organization is preferable. 

    Skills and Abilities

    • Proficient in written and oral communications - English and Nepali (mandatory)
    • Strong interpersonal skills, team oriented 
    • Proficient in using basic office package (Ms. Word, excel, PowerPoint) 
    • Proactive and independent approach to work with willingness to undertake additional responsibilities.
    • Ability to initiate and implement activities with minimal supervision and manage high volume workflow with multiple tasks.
    • Ability to work well with others and to develop and maintain positive working relationships.
    • Resourceful in resolving problems and initiating solutions. 

    Job Description

    Key responsibilities:

    Human Resource (HR) (60%) :

    • Provide assistance to the HR department in the talent acquisition process, which includes call for selection process, preliminary shortlisting, , maintaining roster of applicants, among other exhaustive selection processes.
    • Download and compile job applications and maintain a systemic record in excel.
    • Support the HR section in drafting notices and advertisements for vacant staff positions.
    • Support the HR section in archiving all HR correspondence and documents, ensuring a high level of confidentiality.
    • Close the file of the ex-employee in HR and finance section, ensuring final clearance.
    • Support the HR section in organizing onboarding  sessions and exit formality/farewell program.
    • Support and remind the HR section to follow up on the probation period timeline of newly joined team member/s. 
    • Be a back support to the HR section as and when required.

    Consular Affairs (40%) :

    • Provide assistance and support to Consular Officer for administering the consulate of the Netherlands in Nepal.
