As a Geologist, your detailed duties and responsibilities can be summarized as bellows, where you are required to coordinate and get approval from the client or client’s representative: -

• Site characterization, including subsurface geology and pre - existing infrastructure
• Alignment optimization based upon ground conditions or ground behavior
• Development of ground model & mapping based upon understanding of ground conditions and ground behavior for site characterization and ground risk/hazard identification
• Identifying and managing geologic hazards (eg. Groundwater, problematic ground conditions, impacts to existing utilities and adjacent structure )
• Recommending appropriate excavation and ground support methods
• Recommending appropriate groundwater control methods
• Recommending appropriate pre - excavation and ground support/ ground improvement measures
• Estimating project design and construction schedules and costs
• Conducting resilience and reliability analysis
• Enabling effective communication within interdisciplinary teams
• Participation in project risk management process
• Participating in public outreach efforts associated with underground infrastructure projects

Other additional responsibilities assigned by the site supervisor/ site engineer.

• The Employee agrees that for the duration of the Employment Period he shall devote his full business time to the business affairs of the Company and shall perform his duties faithfully and efficiently
• The person engaged herein shall at all times during the term of this Agreement abide by all orders, directions, instruction, rules and regulations of the Employer in existence at the time of engagement and which may from time to time be added and amended
• The terms and conditions laid down in this Agreement will be subject to change, based on the change in the policies or regulations of the Government of Nepal
• During the period of his employment under this Agreement, the Employee shall not be employed by or otherwise engage in or be interested in any business in competition with the Company or any Panchakanya Group Pvt. Ltd., or with any of its subsidiaries or affiliates till the completion of the project
• If the Employee commits any act of fraud, embezzlement or theft while employed by the Company or its subsidiary, the Employee shall indemnify and hold Company harmless against any and all claims or losses incurred by or against the Company
