Job Description

  • Handling Design Management with the Principle Architect Team, Structural designer and MEP Engineers.
  • Prepare schedule, coordinate, manage and monitor the execution of the construction works of assigned projects.
  • Obtaining planning and/or building regulations approval.
  • Supporting timely and quality of delivery for project engineering work in support of relevant technical and regulatory standards.
  • Coordination and supervision of the subcontractor’s works to be completed on tie within quality standards.
  • Establishing effective stakeholder relationships, both internally, and externally including clients, architects and builders.
  • Making calculations about loads and stresses.
  • Supporting and guiding junior engineers with technical matters.
  • Attend site meetings and provide assistance related to engineering works.
  • Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly.
  • Ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets and/or timescales.
  • Analyzes equipment, systems, processes, and systems to identify modifications to improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs.
  • Providing technical advice and solving problems on site.
  • Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork.
  • Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and the pricing of materials.
  • Selecting appropriate construction materials.
  • Handle all site reports and documentation regularly.
  • Maintain project files.
  • Inspecting properties to check conditions/foundations
  • Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.
