Job Description

To enhance its service excellence, NIHS seeks a qualified and passionate Front Desk Officer (FDO) to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the reception area, handling patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, billing, and performing administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations of the clinic.

Job Duties, Responsibilities, and Specifications:

  • Greet and assist patients and visitors professionally and courteously.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly.
  • Schedule appointments for patients, doctors, and other staff members.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information.
  • Manage the reception area, including keeping it clean and organized.
  • Handle billing and payment processing for patients.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualification, Experience, and Skill:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Hospital Administration, business administration, or a related field.
  • At least two years of professional work experience in a hospital or clinic is preferable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English and Nepali.

Observation and Probation Period:
